Position open: PMO-Head of IT Services
Experience: 15+ Years
Job Description:
Should have experience in successfully spearheading quality initiatives across the organization.
Should have thorough knowledge on industry models applicable to IT industry such as CMMI, ISO, ITIL, PMP. Certifications are desirable.
Should have good knowledge on various estimation models used in IT sector.
Should have good knowledge on running metrics programs and statistics.
Should have thorough knowledge on software development/support and the various quality tools that help in improving quality of the same.
Should have been part of CMMI assessment as ATM or lead assessor.
Should have good contacts in industry at least within quality circles. Should be able to liaison with external assessors and vendors.
Should have published or presented papers in popular quality or related forums.
Should have experiencing in driving quality both in development and support projects.
Should have reasonable knowledge of retail IT systems.
Manage stakeholders expectations effectively, leading to high levels of customer satisfaction
Should be up to date with the latest trends and happenings in quality
Should be able to define and drive best practices within the organization.
Should be able to build skilled teams and be a Natural people’s person.
Coach, mentor and guide to achieve team, organizational and personal goals
Should have reasonable skills in finance, cross-cultural awareness, leadership, communication, influence, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
Responsibilities
Champion continuous and service improvement in the programs and service delivery
Improve the quality of software development and support by improving the ways of working.
Ensure compliance with respect to internal processes wherever needed.
Ensure that people are adequately trained on the ways of working.
Participates and influences program governance decisions
Participate and contribute in senior level meeting such as the leadership meetings / program reviews etc
Drive innovation within and outside the team.
Team Management Responsibilities (Wherever Applicable)
Manages a project/team size of typically 15 â€" 30 people
Qualification:
Minimum Education Qualification: B SC/ MCA/ Engineering Graduate
Minimum Experience required: 15+ Years
